These are "Master of Science" programs into which candidates holding a bachelor's degree are admitted if they meet the application requirements (Refer to the Hacettepe University Graduate School of Science and Engineering website for application conditions) and pass the entrance examinations. Research in graduate programs is conducted in general geology, mineralogy and petrography, mineral deposits, applied geology, and hydrogeology, awarding the titles of "Master of Science in Geological Engineering" or "Master of Science in Geological (Hydrogeological) Engineering" upon completion.
