The Hydrogeological Engineering Program, offering a 4-year undergraduate degree within the Faculty of Engineering at Hacettepe University, trains engineers dedicated to the investigation, development, and protection of water resources. The language of instruction is Turkish, with an optional English preparatory program. Graduate education and research programs leading to M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees are offered under the Graduate School of Science and Engineering.

The curriculum includes basic engineering sciences, core geological engineering courses, and specialized hydrogeological engineering applications. Courses in economics, management, and social sciences are also integrated into the program. Most specialized courses are elective, enabling students to tailor their education toward their specific areas of interest. Furthermore, successful students have the opportunity to spend one or two semesters at partner European universities via exchange programs.
